Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any quotation, consultation or bathroom/kitchen installation work carried out by Olivia's Bathrooms & Kitchens, based at 49 Nurstead Road, Erith, Kent, DA8 1LS.

2. Website use

Content on this website — including copy, imagery, project photography and design — is provided for information about our services. You may not reproduce, resell or misrepresent this content as your own. We do our best to keep information accurate, but nothing on this website constitutes a binding quotation until we issue a written itemised quote after an in-home consultation.

3. Quotations

All quotations are provided in writing after a free in-home consultation and are itemised. Quotations remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. A quotation only becomes a contract once both parties have accepted it in writing and any agreed deposit or scheduling deposit has been received.

4. Variations & changes

Once work has been booked, any variations to scope, materials or layout must be agreed in writing before we proceed with the change. Variations may affect price and timeline; we will confirm both in writing before continuing.

5. Materials supplied by the client

Where you supply materials (for example, a kitchen from a third-party retailer, or tiles bought separately), you remain responsible for their quality, quantity and timely delivery. We will inspect materials on delivery for obvious defects but cannot warrant items we did not supply.

6. Workmanship guarantee

All work carried out by Olivia's Bathrooms & Kitchens is backed by our workmanship guarantee. If work we have carried out is defective, we will return to put it right at no cost. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by third parties, accidental damage, misuse, or issues arising from client-supplied materials.

7. Payment

Payment terms are set out in each individual quotation and typically involve a deposit, staged interim payments during the project, and a final balance on snag-free handover. Payment is due within the timeframe stated on your invoice.

8. Cancellation

You have the right to cancel a contract within 14 days of acceptance under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Where work has been started at your request within that period, we may retain reasonable costs for work performed and materials ordered on your behalf.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our liability in respect of any single project is limited to the total price paid by you for that project.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
